In 2018, Primary Health Care rebranded as Healius to reflect a more modern, connected, and patient-centred approach to healthcare in Australia. The name Healius was chosen to represent a commitment to healing and to better connect with both healthcare professionals and patients. The new brand identity moved away from a clinical, corporate feel, instead embracing warmth, empathy, and continuity—visually expressed through the ‘Life’s Journey’ motif and a distinctive ‘H’ symbol.
The strategy unified Healius’ broad network of medical centres, pathology, imaging, and day hospitals under a single, cohesive brand—positioning the organisation for future growth and reinforcing its role in delivering accessible, high-quality care across the country.
